K-Bash #626

I found out about Roller Derby from my best friend Autumn Love A.K.A Psych McPike . I also found out about Derby from Remy. CKRD was a turning point in my life. I was actually looking into joining a self-defense class as a therapeutic outlet. Roller Derby is super family oriented and it’s nice to be able to have a safe place that my kids can come along too. I have met a lot of really cool people along the way that have become much like family. It’s nice to be involved in a sport that helps you build new friendships. Plus... it’s kind of fun to hit your friends. My dad has never missed a home game. My whole family (1 brother, 2 sisters, Dad) come to casino night. It’s our derby holiday.
