I found out about roller derby a few years ago and thought it would be interesting but never had the courage to go because I didn’t know anyone on the team until one day I was looking about getting into it and got in contact with some people on the team and just took a leap of faith and decided to try it and I’ve loved it ever since. I’ve been playing roller derby for about a year now. I have 2 little boys, Skylar and cash, and my husband who is our jam timer. My position is being a Jammer, but I do block as well. Mainly I love the people on my team and how we’re all different but it’s the one sport that brings us together, I love the exercise and I love the ability it brings out of people to overcome the obstacles that they never thought they had the capability of doing.
